⚡ThirdSpace BUZZ: Shell Company Cycles Hide Billions; Claude Swarms Unleash Coding Power
Layered fraud shells cycle cash endlessly yet AI multi-agents build unbreakable coding squads overnight.
ThirdSpace BUZZ is an edgy newsletter on current events in tech, business, finance, entrepreneurship, and the places I am in. Presently, Seattle.

⚡ Depth Charge
I’ve decided irregular posting schedules are far more fun than consistent and timely editions. It leaves a sense of wonder and mystery.
One thing I am curious about is Japan. That’s a land I have yet to explore.
It’s also a land that seems to always have a tonne of monies and the ability to lend at low prices. Wild. I know.
What I also find wild are the intricate ways fraudsters weave together webs of companies and shells to hide illegal activity via financial instruments and management activities in order to avoid taxes and create a card house that would fall at any slightest hint of wind.
Take for example:
Fraudsters nest shell companies deep, cycling cash through reverse repos and affiliate loans that bloat balance sheets without trace. Circular trades roll daily, netting zero but washing origins clean. Affiliates lend back, fees extract value.
Funds slip offshore, vanishing in havens under master agreements. Auditors sign off blind. Regs spot patterns late. Layers multiply. Detection crumbles. Cash emerges legit, ready for reuse.
Once the money passes through the system of companies and responsibilities it comes back out as a loan against an asset that disappears into another form of asset or remains liquid cash.
Think about those suitcases at the airport . . . Minnesota.
👊 Quick Hits
Bing: West Palm Beach transforms into a filming hotspot for “RJ Decker,” an ABC drama adapting Carl Hiaasen’s Double Whammy with Scott Speedman leading as the ex-con photographer turned investigator.
Bang: Palm Beach County slams Florida CFO Blaise Ingoglia for claiming $344 million in wasteful overspending without any proof provided. Administrator Joe Abruzzo demands evidence, gets silence instead.
Boom: Stablecoins remain chained to the US dollar at 99% market share because liquidity and global reserve status win every time. Non-USD experiments like basket pegs or euro versions stay tiny, fragmented, and unscaled.
🔭 Things to Keep an Eye On
If you’re not using AI then I’m not sure why.
I’m also not going to question it. But if you are then you’ve certainly heard of Claude. He’s a beast. Well here’s a neat feature you might like, Swarms.
Claude code swarms unlock multi-agent coding teams. Multi-agent systems simulate dev teams for complex projects. Strong planning plus human oversight prevents hallucinated code. Task isolation boosts sub-agent performance over full context.
It’s an eye opener . . .
